Why Ulsa-Cool Balancer?

Why Ulsa-Cool?
Perfect for horses and ponies who need support for digestive wellbeing including those prone to Equine Gastric Ulcer Syndrome. A super-concentrated formulation with additional gut buffering ingredients to help maintain a comfortable gastrointestinal system.

Is your pony/horse prone to gastric ulcers?

Does your pony/horse suffer from digestive upset causing stressful behaviour?

Blue Chip Ulsa-Cool has been specifically formulated to assist those prone to gastric ulcers, with the maintenance of acid balance in the gut. The prebiotic MOS, probiotics, beta glucans, marine minerals, nucleotides and anti-oxidants in the balancer restore the natural balance of the gut flora, helping to maintain continued well-being of the digestive system. Ulsa-Cool is a highly nutrient-dense pelleted balancer, formulated to be fed in small quantities alongside a fibre-based diet. Like all Blue Chip balancers, Ulsa-Cool is a whole grain and molasses free formulation.

Key Ingredients

Triple-action digestive supplement - Ulsa-Cool contains a high concentration of prebiotic MOS, probiotics and nucleotides. Proven to increase forage digestibility by up to 100% in a study conducted by Hartpury College.

AcidBal™ - Ulsa-Cool benefits from an acid buffering agent comprised of Lithothamnion, which is derived from marine minerals and helps the natural pH balance of the gut. It does this by slowly releasing calcium, magnesium and silicon over a prolonged period, enhancing the buffering effect it has on stomach acid.

Beta-glucans - Natural, plant derived polysaccharides included in each pellet of Ulsa-Cool. Beta-glucans coat the stomach lining with a protective film, slowing the passage of feed and keeping the stomach fuller for longer which creates a less acidic environment. Beta-glucans have been found to enhance the immune response and play an active role in macrophage production, the white blood cells your pony/horse requires to actively fight off infection and disease.

Immune support - Antioxidants (selenium, vitamin C and vitamin E) are included in Ulsa-Cool to aid the ‘mopping up’ of free radicals to promote a healthy immune system.

Nucleotides - Essential to every cell in the body, a key part of the digestive supplement, they are the building blocks of DNA and RNA. Nucleotides help support immunity, stamina, cell replication, and repair of damaged cells, vital for those seeking improved digestive health and functionality.

De-stressor - Magnesium is included to keep horses and ponies calm and stress free. In addition, the double-action digestive supplement will settle the digestive system ensuring horses feel comfortable and relaxed.

Skin and coat - Ulsa-Cool includes soya oil and linseed oil, natural, vegetable sources of omega 3 and 6 fatty acids, PLUS organic zinc to support your horse or ponies healthy, scurf-free skin and coat.

SoundHoof™ - Like all Blue Chip balancers, Ulsa-Cool contains a complete hoof supplement with biotin, methionine, lysine, organic zinc and organic copper for the formation of strong, pliable, good quality hooves.

PrimoVento™ - Ulsa-Cool benefits from a complete respiratory supplement with antioxidants, menthol, eucalyptus and garlic to soothe the airways and maintain lung health and integrity.

Nutritional profile - Ulsa-Cool contains optimum levels of nutrients, vitamins and minerals to ensure the correct functioning of the metabolic system, central nervous system and immune system. Blue Chip uses organic/chelated minerals to ensure optimum absorption and effectiveness.
