Success at Millstreet International for Beth

Beth recently competed at the Millstreet International Horse Show in County Cork, Ireland and achieved a great set of results with Omane des Faux, who placed second in a very competitive, 1.35m international speed class. She also took Lotus to compete in the 1.60m 3* Grand Prix class amongst stiff competition where an unlucky error at the end of the course saw her finish on eight faults. She has also been out and about with her four and five year old horses to bring them on and then to Addington Manor with Hashtag and Moneybroom Dancer for the British Young Horse Show Jumping Championships where she placed in the 6 Year Old Non British Bred Final. She is off to Scope this week to compete in the 2* International class as well as in the 6 Year Old Classes – watch this space for... read more

Beth at Dinard 5*

“Had a very good show at Dinard 5* 2 weeks ago.  Pewit Nono was clear every day in the 6 year olds and came 4th in the Grand Prix.  Quality was placed the final day in a very hotly contested speed class.  Thomas, 8 year old, was fantastic in the Grand Prix jumping clear but unfortunately I was a bit too slow picking up a time fault – but not a bad start for his first ever Grand Prix, finishing 8th. I’ve been to  a couple of good national days show in England getting the young horses out.  Hashtag, The Movie Star and Za Touche have all been jumping nice clear rounds.  Now back on the road again and heading back out to France for 2 weeks of jumping with Omane Des Faux, Quality and Thomas.  Billy competed patrol at Millstreet 3* last week, jumping some great rounds with him in 1.50s. (Hopefully I will be allowed him back when I’m home from... read more

Omane des Faux was 1st and Patrol came 5th in the 1.30m. Going to Stoneleigh to jump the ladies on Wednesday night with Omane des Faux and Patrol. Photo attached of Za... read more

An Update From Beth

“It’s been a super busy couple of weeks, 3-5th July I competed at Southview 2* – Omane des Faux was placed in a couple of 1.35 classes; Pewit Oitimo was clear every day in the 1.30s’ and Patrol had a unlucky fence in the Grand Prix. Quick turnaround at home, the next to head off to keysoe 2* where I competed 2 new horses Quality and Thomas.  Both jumping nice clear rounds in the 1.35’s.  I also took Pewit Nono for a jump around before heading to Chantilly with her. The next few days after Keysoe we headed back up the road to Southview again for the 2nd rounds. Pewit Oitimo jumped 3 very good rounds in the fox hunter 2nd rounds, Hashtag jumped a lovely round in the newcomers, and Omane des Faux was 4th in the Grand Prix.  Now on the road again with Patrol, Pewit Nono, Thomas and Quality heading to Chantilly GCT... read more

“Went to Southview at the weekend – Foxy was 3rd in the 1.30 on Saturday and 4th in the 1.40 on Sunday – he jumped super. Pewit Oitimo jumped Fox 2nd round double-clear and 4 – he’s really coming on. Patrol was clear on Saturday, with an unlucky pole on Sunday in the... read more

Beth Comes 3rd in the Talent Seekers and Qualified for HOYS

“Fantastic weekend this weekend – Annaghmore Lui came 3rd in the Talent Seekers and qualified for HOYS.  There was 130 starters and 33 in the jump-off – it very a very fast competitive class, and I was really pleased with him.  Also, Patrol was 8th in the area trial Saturday, and Pewit Oitimo, Pewit Nono, Za Touché, Hashtag and Omane Des Faux also jumped clears and were placed in their classes.   I’m off to Wales tomorrow to the Chepstow International with Annaughmore Lui, Omane Des Faux, Patrol and Pewit... read more
