Robert Morris MRCVS: “Dental health is as important in horses as in humans. With the increase in longevity this factor is increasingly important. Many horses lifespans are reduced by dental problems. It is difficult to believe that in the 1950’s when a horse got to the age of 14 it was past its usefulness; nowadays it is common to encounter horses working well into their twenties.”
