After a career that lasted nine years Kauto Star, racehorse that was trained by Paul Nicholls is finally retiring. Kauto Star has won the Cheltenham Gold Cup twice and the King George VI Chase five times and is generally considered as on of the best ever steeplechases. His rating of 191 is equal to Mill House and surpassed only by Arkle on 212 and Flyingbolt on 210.

Rhoda & Fizz have a go at showjumping
We had a great fun weekend – on Saturday we turned our hooves to a Riding Club showjumping day – and Fizz took to it like a duck to water. We did three classes – three clear rounds and 1st, 3rd and 5th in the jump-off’s. I thought you might like to put this picture on your website – Fizz with her rosette and 2 year old, Evie.
Beth has a great weekend at Fieldhouse
Beth had a busy weekend at Fieldhouse – Mercutio came 2nd in the Blue Chip Sapphire Qualifier from a hotly contested jump-off which saw 16 combinations race against the clock.
Danielle Heath at Horse of the Year Show
Horse of the Year, was founded to be a culmination of the British equestrian events year. This unique event is held once per year and at this years show Danielle Heath has achieved amazing results.
