Well done Susie!

Joey (Eighteen Carrots) was 2nd at Brand Hall Novice on Saturday- best dressage of 29- we are thrilled with him-he now has 9 points
Bones (Easily Led) had a good dressage of 29.5, equal second after the first phase, then jumped
clear show jumping but we had a glance off on the xc which cost us a top placing! Which was entirely the jockeys fault ……
We also went to Stafford County Show last week with Joey to give him the experience of a big event( flags etc)- the judges loved the ride he gave them and we came home with a 4th and 6th rosette.
We are out again competing at Catton Park on 19th June with both horses all being well
Weston Park Horse Trials
Joeys first Novice and my first Novice with Bones. They both jumped doubleclears and Joey did a particularly smart dressage being given a score of 26! Joey was placed 6th in a competitive section. (1st Matthew Heath, 2nd Oliver Townend, 3rd Posy de Walden, 4th Mark Kyle, 5th Lucy Wiegersma).
.
Stafford HT
Last weekend in the BE100 plus; both Joey and Bones jumped double clears. They ended up being placed 4th and 9th.
.
Swalcliffe Park HT
Joey jumped double clear and was placed 4th.
Bones rolled a pole in the SJ, and jumped clear XC.
Joey Eighteen Carrots was third at Somerford Park Horse Trials in the OPN
Then he was 1st at Hutton in The Forest at the beginning of September
He will be next competing at Kelsall Hill Horse Trials this weekend-No pressure!!

I am afraid to say I have recently sold (Ben) Tilston Tic Toc to an up and coming Junior to compete at Novice and I wish them both every success and hope they have loads of fun because that is Ben’s middle name-I miss him like loads as he used to race me home up the drive along the fence! Such a character…..
.
Hope all well with you
Bets wishes
Susie
