Lisa has had a really busy start to 2012, with lots of horses to compete and youngsters that she is bringing on.

Bones has been out twice so far this season, competing at Somerford Park and Draycott House Horse Trials, where he managed to obtain sub 30 dressage scores(amazing for him) and double clears at both – so fingers crossed for Weston Park. MORE INFO…
Nicola has had a busy start to the eventing season, here is an update from her:
“My first 2 runs of the season have gone really well. Our first run was at Aston Le Walls in an Intro; a little wake up for Billy and a re-cap to see if he can remember his job! As we pulled through our gates at 07:30 loaded up and ready for the off mum gave me a worrying look; it appeared that we had an hydraulic oil leak and no steering – not a good start!! With a mad dash of kit, the husbands’ truck and sisters’ trailer later we dragged Billy from a nice warm lorry to a trailer; Billy having never been in a trailer before just popped in, what a star! David has had a fantastic start to the eventing season at Aldon; he finished 7th in the BE100 with Diamond Nine, 3rd with Koyuna Sun Magic in the OIu21 and won the OIu21 with Kings Cross! Well done David!

March/April’s issue of British Eventing Life featured an article by Blue Chip sponsored Eventing rider David Doel. He talks about having to dress up as Santa, his upcoming competitions and the Blue Chip products he is currently using.
Eventing rider Kristina Cook was featured in the sports section of a newspaper talking about how she plans to try and re-qualify Miners Frolic, in time for the London 2012 Olympics.
Bones had a short holiday in October and since then he has been worked about 5 days a week; a mixture of schooling and hacking, including hill work and some lunging in a pessoa.
He is getting stronger and is beginning to use himself. He may actually be turning into a proper horse after all!

David has recently returned from a two day course at the Unicorn as part of the World Class Training programme riding Fox (Koyuna Sun Magic). Who is one of our main contenders for Young Rider Trials this year.
