Blue Chip Feed | Horse Supplements & Horse Feed Balancers

Emma Pepperell won a years supply of feed balancer of her choice and supplement from Blue Chip Feed in a competition featured in Horse & Rider magazine.

After speaking to a Blue Chip nutritional advisor it was decided that Blue Chip Pro was the best balancer for Emma’s horse, Tippin, as he competes at Pre-Novice. Joint RLF would also help keep him supple, comfortable and performing to his maximum potential.  Here Emma tells us how she and Tippin have been getting on.

When my 4 year old gelding, Kodah, first came to me he was very unhappy and unsettled. He would spook at anything and was generally very difficult to relax. After the first bottle of Blue Chip Karma I have noticed a remarkable difference in him.

I have been using Blue Chip’s Lami-light, Karma and AppleCalm.

I am not sure if it was adding Lami-light to her diet or something in her previous low calorie-balancer that didn’t agree with her, but the difference in her after a few days is amazing. I also bought a bottle of Karma to feed to her daily.

Chris had an awesome weekend at the Western Equestrian Society National Show at Moreton Morrell, Warwickshire over the weekend. He and Coal were Open Champions for the third year running and Overall Champions for the fourth consecutive year. They also did a demonstration (very improvised) of freestyle reining without a bridle.

Matt competed at Goodwood last weekend with his younger horse Ariantha she was fantastic and managed to win the King of the cones.

Tippin has recorded double clear rounds at his most recent BE100 events – Great Tew and Ascott Under Wychwood. He is proving to be a fantastic show jumper and has a clean record in that phase so far! He is now much more confident in the XC phase although we are still collecting time penalties as he still needs time to work out combination fences and stay accurate. Tippin currently has 5 BE foundation points, and we hope to collect more (and hopefully a placing!) at our next event (Cholmondley Castle BE100). He’s certainly feeling very fit and well on the blue chip as he wasn’t even sweating after his last XC run despite his recent break whilst I was on holiday! I’m hoping to upgrade him to Novice in September which will be a great achievement for his first season eventing.
