All the horses like Blue Chip Pro, even the fussy ones. They are all looking in really good condition, especially my old top horse, who does struggle to keep weight on; he is also recovering much quicker after competing. So a very happy thank you.

We started our season off at Twesldown and I took my top horse Weinknoig in the open iintermediate and my girlfriend Kathryn took her top horse Let it Bee in the open intermediate. Both of the horses did good dressage tests, and only one down show jumping and both clear cross country so we were both happy for the first run of the season.

I took my new mare Coco Ocean in the novice at Somerly Park and she was very good and finished 12th. Kathryn was also competing her 5 year old mare Daisy’s Diamante in the pre novice and finished 6th. MORE INFO…

Weston Park Horse Trials
We’ve had a mixed season this year and more challenges. Holly and I moved up to Advanced, we’ve had a few teething problems in the XC. It was a real shame at Belton that I jumped the wrong jump as we would have only had the 20 penalties for the first refusal and some time penalties, she went so well I think we would have been placed in the AU25. As you know I had a lesson with Sarah Hunt a few months ago and she gave me some great tips.
I’ve had some very good news, Temperament and I have received the exciting news that we have made the short list for the GB European CCI** Squad!! Lots more hard work over the winter but all hopefully worth it!
