“I used AppleCalm on my spooky 6 year old, Fritz (Donnergrollen), and he was much more settled and relaxed – I was able to ride him more without him becoming tense and nervous.

He came 2nd in the Shearwater 6 year old young dressage horse final at Hartpury, beating a long list of ‘big’ names on lovely horses. He then went on to behave impeccably in the Gala evening where the top 2 from each age group were displayed to the audience. Now he’s working at Medium it’s very important that he relaxes easily.”

My Horse, Cabbies Hero (Jez) has had a busy life; he did BSJA as a young man and some eventing.

I purchased him when he was 15 (my first horse) so love him to bits but spoil him rotten!

He will be 23 in June and is fed Blue Chip Pro and Dynamic.

We compete now mainly at Dressage and last year at the ripe old of age of 21 we affiliated BD! Before that we qualified and attended the Trailblazers dressage Championships at Stoneleigh, which was a great experience. Since affiliating last year we have qualified for the Summer Regionals and attended two Petplan Area Festivals at Prelim and Novice.

We are now starting doing Elementary. He is a wonderful boy, a real rock and he loves fun rides, UK Chasers and two-hour hacks – escorting any youngsters out.

We have a fabulous trainer who always works him correctly and I hope you agree he looks as fit as a fiddle . I’m sure it’s due partly to your amazing products and his correct training.

Jonti

Jonti is my little Shetland Pony and is 19 years of age.

A friend gave her to me when she was 10-years-old to keep my mare company. She was found at a horse sale and was in a totally neglected state.

My farrier, who first attended her feet said they were really bad and had not had any attention for a considerable time.

As a result of this neglect her feet were a very strange shape and grew very quickly like Turkish slippers. When I first got her I sometimes had to get them trimmed every 3-4 weeks because they grew so long so quickly; now I have her feet trimmed every six weeks to keep them as short as possible which enables her to walk better.

I also had her feet X-rayed and the results showed damage to the joints and there is nothing that can be done. I just concentrate on keeping her comfortable now. She is not worked and is solely a companion pony to my riding horse. She is fine on soft ground but struggles on hard ground.

She has an open stable with a nice deep bed and can come and go as she pleases. She is a lovely little soul with a great personality and I don’t know how anyone could have neglected her in this way.

Last Spring I started her on Blue Chip Lami-light. My other little Shetland who has EMS had laminitis and I bought it for her but thought I would give some to Jonti as well. There has been a significant difference in Jonti’s hooves since then. They are a much better shape, she is walking much better and they are not growing nearly so long now.

My farrier had very little to trim off them on his last visit and commented on this. Since feeding the Lami-light her feet are now a much more normal shape – sorry I haven’t got a recent photo of her.

I would highly recommend this balancer and will continue to feed it all year round.

We have not as yet had an opportunity to try the Blue Chip instant calmers as we have not needed to.

Just recently we have been feeding our pony Henry on Blue Chip Original and we are absolutely delighted with the almost immediate, positive effects.

Henry’s coat is looking superb, and his temperament is so different; he seems to be happier, more confident and settled in himself, and certainly easier to train!

We are continuing with the Karma, especially before going out on a drive and wouldn’t be without it. We have decided to continue with these two excellent products in the future.

I started using Blue Chip Original in May this year and my horse looks fantastic.

I used to use another feed balancer but decided to change to Blue Chip as it came recommended from two top show producers I met.

I always get people telling me how fantastic my horse looks and how shiny her coat is.
