Hello Everyone
Just to give you an update on where Polly is up to at the beginning of a new season.
The first good news is that Polly is in the UK Eventing Elite Squad of 10 riders, and is training this week with Yogi Breisner and the team down in Worsley (Eddie Stibbe’s place). The reason she is in the Elite squad is due to an excellent season last year, with 6th place in the Rolex Kentucky and 12th place at Burghley (both on Limestone Rise) and a 4th place at Blenheim on Two for Joy.
Going into this season, Polly has nine eventers in training today, and probably one or two more to come!
Her top horses, aiming at the major three and four star competitions are Limestone Rise, Two for Joy and Red Quest; she has new rides on Rose of Rockcorry (competed Novice Champs at Gatcombe) and Caunton Welldone (recently arrived from Germany); and will also compete Allercombe Summertime(Novice wins in 2004), Time for T(prev. competed at 2*level), Joseph William and Quick to Move.
