Rachael Claridge married her fiancé, Adam Farley, on 21st June at St Mary’s Church in Hawkesbury. Here is a report from Rachael, “Adam and I got married on 21st June, and present amongst our guests were my horses and dog! My horses were held by my Beaufort Hunt Pony Club friends Alice McGrory (Maarhabi & Prince Meliodas) and Leah Tuck (Silver Zenif – Crabbet Arab stallion) in our fields at Badminton.
We hope to resume our endurance competitions in Mid July at Wentwood, Newport followed by Cranham at the end of July with the intention of Maarhabi’s first FEI 1* event at Barbury Castle in Mid August – all weather permitting of cause!
We are off on our honeymoon on Wednesday – I still don’t know where we are going which is very romantic and I’m too exhausted to be a control freak wife after many months of planning the wedding and many days of partying with friends and family, and long may it continue!
I must say that my Ariat wellington boots were the best idea of mine for the day. After the ceremony I put them on and because the outside photos were on wet grass I kept them on to protect my best shoes but then didn’t take them off and spent all evening on the dance floor in them too – brilliant – thank you Ariat!”
