Blue Chip visited Stallion AI (artificial insemination) Services to watch the process of taking a semen collection, and the steps which follow; freezing and storing the semen.
The CTG Winter League took place on the 4th December 2011.

Blue Chip Owner/Director Clare Blaskey and Glen were featured in The Sheffield Telegraph yesterday (January 26th 2012) for their fantastic achievement of Reserve Champion at Olympia.
“I gave Zirina AppleCalm 1 hour before warming-up, as she can be a handful when I’m trying to mount – previously she has spun round, and even reared up and gone over backwards, despite someone being stood at her head.
After giving her AppleCalm, she stood perfectly for me to mount, with no-one to help!”
David has recently returned from a two day course at the Unicorn as part of the World Class Training programme riding Fox (Koyuna Sun Magic). Who is one of our main contenders for Young Rider Trials this year.
My Horse, Cabbies Hero (Jez) has had a busy life; he did BSJA as a young man and some eventing.
I purchased him when he was 15 (my first horse) so love him to bits but spoil him rotten!
He will be 23 in June and is fed Blue Chip Pro and Dynamic.
Jonti is my little Shetland Pony and is 19 years of age.
