Giovanni has had a mixed month so far – some brilliant results coupled with a devastating event at Saumur, where one of his top horses, Weinknog, sadly had to be put to sleep due to a multiple fracture in his leg. Joey (Eighteen Carrots) was 2nd at Brand Hall Novice on Saturday- best dressage of 29- we are thrilled with him-he now has 9 points
Bones (Easily Led) had a good dressage of 29.5, equal second after the first phase, then jumped
clear show jumping but we had a glance off on the xc which cost us a top placing! Which was entirely the jockeys fault ……
We also went to Stafford County Show last week with Joey to give him the experience of a big event( flags etc)- the judges loved the ride he gave them and we came home with a 4th and 6th rosette.
We are out again competing at Catton Park on 19th June with both horses all being well

You will be pleased to know that Noj (Avonvalley Nowjust) and I won the Veteran class at BSPS Area 4b at the weekend, and also took the championship!!! This was after a year off with a collateral ligament injury in his foot. I believe that Joint RLF has really helped him get back on the road.
Noj has been fed on Blue Chip Original pretty much since I brought him as a 3yr old and I also use theJoint RLF and Karma. My Mum has started to use Lami-light on our retired Section D with great results!

I had another good weekend last weekend (apart from the lorry having broken down and hitching lifts in various trailers!) Tango was 1st, Ollie 3rd and Lady 5th at Horsham & District Riding Club’s ODE at Pulborough.
I may also have a couple of new rides for owners, one at BE90 and the other BYEH 4YO – I’ll keep you posted.
