Sarah Butler

Office Manager & Nutritional Specialist

sarah@bluechipfeed.com

Hi, my name is Sarah, and I have worked at Blue Chip for over 3 years, after graduating from Nottingham Trent University with my degree in Equine Sports Science. I manage the general running of the office, as well as ensuring that all
of your nutritional enquires is answered.

I try to provide a complete diet package for your horse or pony, including how to suit their management routine to their dietary needs. There are many more contributing factors that affect your horse or pony’s weight and condition,
than simply what you put in their feed bucket. Providing a complete diet and management plan will help to ensure that the long-term health and welfare of your horse or pony is maintained.

I liaise with our sponsored riders, ensuring that their horses and ponies current are benefitting from their current diets to maximise their performance, as well as keeping the riders’ webpage’s up to date so that you can follow their progress throughout the season. I also attend trade shows, providing nutritional support and advice; I love to hear how your horse or pony is progressing on Blue Chip, so please come along for a chat if you’re at one of the events that we have a stand at.

I have ridden from a young age, and have owned my mare, Cracker, for nearly 4 years. Cracker is a 16.3hh IDX, and we’re hoping to get out to some shows and ODE’s this season. I also own the terror that is Raffles – the 33 years-young rescue Shetland pony! He was in a poor state when I got him, but 2 years down the line and he is doing great – I think he might outlive us all!

If you would like any feeding advice for your horse or pony please don’t hesitate to contact me, and I hope to see you at a trade show in the near future.
