2013 looks set to be another exciting year for Blue Chip. Our horses have
started the year on cracking form; the now 18 year old I’m Blue Chip Too has qualified for the Elementary Freestyle to Music dressage regional’s 2014. Our main hope for him this year is to get to Olympia in the Dodson & Horrell Veteran Championship. Blue Chip Forever has been in the first three in all of his dressage competitions and will now be competing at Elementary and Medium. We were so pleased when he was 3rd in the Elementary Freestyle to Music regional championships. He will also be competing in the Blue Chip sponsored Flat Ridden Sport Horse class; he was 4th in the final last year. We have again given prizes in all the qualifiers, and there is £400 and prizes on offer at the finals.
Our racehorse, Come on Blue Chip, has exceeded all our expectations; he has won over £22,000 and his next big race is coming up in a few weeks, which will be televised on Channel 4 Racing. Come on Blue Chip came home for a break and some ‘chill-out’ time in the field. It was great to have him back home again, he just settled straight in, in his old stable, and just loved being the centre of attention having been raised by a pony foster Mum, as his dam had no milk; he is a real softee.
We are still looking for a new large riding horse and would love to hear from anyone who might have one.
Blue Chip the company is truly becoming a worldwide brand. Our distributors in Australia are doing so well, people have been coming up to them and giving them a big hug thanking them for getting Blue Chip to Australia. Even Jennie Loriston-Clarke on a visit to Australia went to see them and told them what a great product Blue Chip is, and how she had used it in the UK.
Very soon I shall be off to South Africa to visit our distributor, Michelle. I’m really looking forward to visiting her customers, followed by a safari in Botswana.
